The Oyster Shed’s top floor, The Rockefeller Lounge, is available for private hire and provides the perfect place for a birthday bash, casual wedding reception, corporate events and anything else you wish to celebrate. Milestone or not, we can accommodate all manner of events but let’s be honest – who needs an excuse to throw a party?

We offer various packages from light bites and lavish canapes to a delicious three-course sit down meals. We can also offer other options including hot and cold buffets, pop up stations etc. so if you have something specific in mind just ask!

Nestled on the banks of the River Thames in the heart of the City of London, The Oyster Shed is in a wonderful location for your wedding. It is also the place to be in the warmer months so unfortunately Saturdays in the summer aren’t available for exclusive hire however, don’t fear as we’ve got you covered with gorgeous autumnal and winter weddings as well as any Sunday throughout the year.

Wedding of the year

Absolutely brilliant day at my daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding day. What a place – right on the River Thames. We were so blessed with the weather. Staff were amazing and everything went swimmingly. Food was perfect and beautifully presented. The staff were really so attentive and helpful. We will go back to this venue to have a meal. Brilliant day and thank you to everyone at The Oyster Shed.
